Clothing:

Women should dress modestly; pants and capris are acceptable. Skirts should be long enough to cover knees when sitting down. Shirts should cover shoulders and mid-drifts.

             Guys can wear shorts but in some                      situations pants will be necessary.

Turks tend to dress up more than the average American college student, so bring more than just t-shirts.

             Comfortable footwear is a must.

Housing:

           You will stay with local                     families.

Weather:

            It can get hot in June, but             expect a few nights to be                 cool enough for a jacket. 

Other:

            There will be a lot of                         walking and riding                             crowded buses.
